FRSDC Organisational Committee

Nathan Besch

Nathan is a EUSDC & ISSDC alumnus who has joined the lead organisation of FRSDC. Coming from France, he is currently a 2nd year student at Trinity College Dublin where he pursues a degree in Astrophysics. Eager to join the space industry as a whole, Nathan is extremely motivated to promote space education among other students, as he believes space to be an increasingly significant environment of the future.

After a 3-year participation in SDCs, both as a competitor (President, member) and as a volunteer (multiple times CEO), he wishes to expand national competitions to his home country France, enabling lycéens to have the same opportunities he was offered.

Passionate about the cosmos, you will often find Nathan on his balcony stargazing, or inside reading, coding and playing video games with his lifelong companion Yannis Kühn.

Yannis Kühn

Yannis is a EUSDC & ISSDC alumnus who has joined the lead organisation of FRSDC. Coming from France, despite being half German, he is currently a 2nd year student at Heidelberg University, where he pursues a degree in Chemistry.

As he participated 2 years in SDCs, both as a competitor (President, member) and as a volunteer (multiple times CEO), he became aware of the potential and the importance of promoting STEAM-education among the youth. Seeing that his home country didn't have its own national SDC, it was logical that he wanted to join the adventure of building the first FRSDC.

Outside of university life, you will often find Yannis chilling with his friends on the shores of the Neckar river, doing projects with his fellow Nathan on Discord or just playing video games.
